Removing and installing Poly-V belt > < Vehicles with air conditioner

1 - 10 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn) further
q   4x
q   Replace
2 - Belt pulley and vibration damper
q   Fitting is only possible in one position, the holes are arranged asymmetrically
3 - 25 Nm
q   3 off
4 - Poly V-belt tensioning element
q   Rotate using a (16 mm) open-ended spanner for releasing the tension on the Poly-V belt → Chapter
5 - Spring retainer
q   For Alternator
6 - 45 Nm
q   6 off
q   Observe tightening sequence → Fig..
7 - Alternator
8 - 25 Nm
9 - Poly-V belt
q   Mark direction of rotation before removing.
q   Check for wear
q   Do not bend
q   removing and fitting → Chapter

   
Tightening order for the attachment bolts securing the compact bracket to the engine block
–  Position the compact bracket on the engine block (note the adjustment sleeve between the compact support and the engine block).
–  Tighten the bolts attaching the compact support in the following order:
1 - Tighten the bolt -A-, 45 Nm
2 - Tighten the bolt -B-, 45 Nm
3 - Tighten the bolt -C-, 45 Nm
4 - Tighten the bolt -D-, 45 Nm
5 - Tighten the bolt -E-, 45 Nm
6 - Tighten the bolt -F-, 45 Nm
