Exhaust gas recirculation radiator switching valve: check
Exhaust gas recirculation radiator switching valve: check
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pressure pump -SAT 1390-, see equivalent → Anchor
Checking sequence
  Note
The depression actuator of the switching valve can be accessed from below.
–  Extract the flexible low pressure tube from the exhaust gas recirculation valve → Item
–  Connect the pressure pump -SAT 1390- to the valve.
–  Operate the manual pump and observe the membrane rod.
l  The switching link for the exhaust gas recirculation radiator should move -arrows-.
If linkage does not move or only moves in jerks:
t  The depression box is faulty.
t  The switching valve for the exhaust gas recirculation radiator has heavy movement.
