Removing and installing upper front coolant pipe
Removing and installing upper front coolant pipe
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Hose clamp pliers -VAS 6340-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-10380
t  Base -VAS 6499-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-10700
Removing
–  Remove the engine cover upwards -arrows-.
–  Remove the air filter housing → Chapter.
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
  E10-10085
–  Unscrew the bolt -2-.
–  Release hose clips -1- and -3-, and pull coolant hoses off.
–  Remove upper front coolant pipe.
Installing
l  Tightening torques → Chapter
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Fill coolant system with coolant → Chapter.
