Poly V-belt pulley for coolant pump: Removing and installing
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Base -T20174-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-2456
t  Water pump wrench -VAG 1590-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Torque wrench (5... 50 Nm) -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor
  Note
  W00-0444
Check whether the 3 round corners on the water pump wrench -V.A.G 1590- have been filed down to dimension -a- = 1 mm. If this is not the case, file the corners down.

Removal:
–  Remove poly V-belt → Chapter.
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove bracket from timing chain cover.
  Note
The support is only required during the vehicle manufacture and it is not necessary to mount it.
  A19-10619
–  Remove bolts for coolant pump pulley (counterhold with water pump wrench -V.A.G 1590-).
Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install poly V-belt → Chapter.
