Removing and installing accelerator module
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  For left-hand drive vehicles: Release tool -T10238-, see equivalent → Anchor

For right-hand drive vehicles: Release tool -T10240-, see equivalent → Anchor

Removing
  W00-10108
–  Remove the steering column cover -arrows-.

–  Separate the connector -2-; for this, unlock the tab by pressing on it fully -arrow-.
–  If present, remove the cable guide -1- from the accelerator pedal module.
–  Use screwdriver to prise off cap.
–  Loosen the bolt.

–  Insert the Release tool -T10238-to the end in the opening -arrow- intended for this as shown in the figure.
–  Remove the accelerator pedal module by pulling straight upwards.
Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
  N20-10056
–  Place the cable guide-1- and the connector -2- in the accelerator pedal module -5-.
l  The connector should engage audibly.
–  Insert the accelerator pedal module into the attachment pins -6-.
–  Fit the centre fastener -7- in the hole on the vehicle floor.
–  Secure accelerator module with bolt -3- and install cap -4-.
