Coarse oil separator: Removing and installing (engine code BYT)

Removal:

–	Release the fasteners -1 and 2- to remove the central soundproofing sump.

–	Release the tabs by pressing, disconnect the hose from the crankshaft breather -arrow- and move to one side.

–	Remove bolts -1 … 8- and detach coarse oil separator.

Caution

Risk of lubrication system contamination.

Cover the opening with clean cloths.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

t	Renew gaskets and seals.

t	Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
