Charge air system - assembly overview (Ibiza)
  Note
t  Radiator and charge air cooler are two separate components.
t  The radiator is located above the charge air cooler.
t  The radiator and the charged air cooler have to be removed and installed together.
t  Coolant hose schematic diagram → Chapter
t  Use pliers for spring-type clips -VAS 6340- when removing and installing the spring-type clips.
   
1 - Radiator
q   Removing and installing the radiator → Chapter
2 - Intake manifold
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
3 - Waterproof strip
q   Check that the charged-air cooler is fitted in the correct installation position.
4 - Seal
q   Renew
q   Check that the charged-air cooler is fitted in the correct installation position.
5 - Charge air cooler intake pipe
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
6 - Coolant hose
q   To turbocharger
7 - 7 Nm
q   Observe tightening sequence → Chapter.
8 - Coolant hose
q   To expansion tank.
9 - Hose clip
q   Fixed onto the upper valve timing housing
10 - Coolant hose
q   To turbocharger
11 - Coolant circulation pump -V50-
q   Installation location: Beneath intake manifold
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
12 - 8 Nm
13 - Retainer
14 - Electrical connector
15 - 10 Nm
16 - Coolant hose
q   To fuel radiator
17 - Coolant pipe
q   Attached to the sump
18 - 8 Nm
19 - Coolant hose
20 - Charge air cooler
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
