Opening the quick-release coupling Special tools and workshop equipment required t  -T10468- Assignment of the quick-release coupling   Note The quick-release connectors of the fuel, vacuum and venting lines are colour coded. There is either a coloured dot on the connector or the release button is coloured.

Push-on connector	Colour code on connector
Fuel supply	Black
Fuel return	Blue
Breather	white, beige
Vacuum	Green

WARNING Fuel supply line is pressurised. Wear eye protection and protective clothing to avoid eye injuries and skin contact. Before loosening hose connections, wrap a cloth around the connection. Then release pressure by carefully pulling hose off connection.

Variant 1 Push-on connector with release buttons -arrows- on right and left Opening

Counterhold on the decoupling point -1- intended for the fuel. –  Attach and fix the -T10468- between the heat guard and end -arrow- of the fuel line -2-.

Continuation for all separating points of the fuel system –  Press the quick-release coupling -1- in direction of -arrow A-. –  Press release buttons and pull push-on connector -1- off fuel line -2- in -direction of arrow B-. Take note of colour assignment during installation → Anchor –  Ensure push-fit couplings are secured properly by pulling.

Variant 2 Push-on connector with pull-release mechanism -arrow- Opening

–  Press the quick-release coupling -1- in direction of -arrow A-. –  Pull the release lock -2- in the -direction of arrow B-. –  Pull push-on connector -1- off fuel line -3- in -direction of arrow B-. Take note of colour assignment during installation → Anchor –  Ensure push-fit couplings are secured properly by pulling.

Variant 3 Push-on connector with front button -arrow- Opening –  Press the release button -arrow- and remove the quick-release coupling. Take note of colour assignment during installation → Anchor –  Ensure push-fit couplings are secured properly by pulling.

Variant 4 Push-on connector with release buttons -arrows- on right and left Opening –  Press the quick-release coupling in the direction of -arrow A-. –  Press release buttons -arrows- and pull push-on connector off. Take note of colour assignment during installation → Anchor –  Ensure push-fit couplings are secured properly by pulling.

Variant 5 Push-on connector with release buttons -arrows- on right and left Opening –  Press release buttons -arrows- and pull push-on connector off. Take note of colour assignment during installation → Anchor –  Ensure push-fit couplings are secured properly by pulling.
