Accelerator pedal module removal and installation (Altea, Altea XL, Leon)

t	Removing → Anchor

t	Installing → Anchor

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Pressure tool -T10238-, see equivalent → Anchor

t	Release tool -T10240-, (right-hand drive vehicles) see equivalent → Anchor

Removing

–	Remove the pedal assembly cover:

–	Unplug connector from the accelerator pedal module.

–	Remove the protective cap of the upper section of the accelerator pedal module.

–	Remove the securing bolt.

–	To remove the accelerator pedal module, insert the release tool -T10238- or release tool -T10240- (for vehicles with the steering wheel on the right hand side) to the limit in the holes as shown.

–	Remove the accelerator pedal module by pulling straight upwards.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

–	Tightening torque of fastening bolts: 10 Nm
