| Start engine and run at idling speed. |

| Seal the end tubes while checking for leaks (e.g. with cloths or caps). |

| Test by listening for noise in the joints of the cylinder head/exhaust manifold, exhaust manifold/front exhaust pipe with the catalytic converter, etc. |

| Repair any leaks found. |
