Bearing shells: Installation position (engine code BGU)

Upper semi bearing -1- with a drilled hole for lubricating -arrow- the piston pin.
Lower semi-bearing -2- without spring pin lubrication hole.
  Note
For engine codes, BSE, BSF, CCSA and CMXA, the crankshaft half-bearings do not have any drill-holes.
For all engine codes
–  Fit the bearing shells centrally in the conrod or in the conrod bearing cap.
Distance -a- should be identical on both sides.
