Activated charcoal filter system: Removing and installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Pliers -T20174- or Pliers -T20029-

Note

t	Observe the safety precautions before starting work → Chapter .

t	Observe rules for cleanliness → Chapter.

t	Removing → Anchor

t	Fitting → Anchor.

Removing

–	Detach engine cover -arrows- (according to version).

–	Disconnect the vacuum pipe -1- to the active carbon filter (by pressing the release tab).

Note

The fuel supply lines -2- remain connected.

–	Separate the vacuum hose -1- and extract the active carbon deposit bracket pulling upwards -arrow-, (the other tubes remain connected).

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
