Fuel supply components: Removing and installing > < Venting the fuel tank: check
Accelerator pedal module with accelerator pedal position senderG79 and accelerator pedal position sender 2G185: Removing and installing.
Accelerator pedal module with accelerator pedal position sender -G79- and accelerator pedal position sender 2 -G185-: Removing and installing.

t  Fitting → Anchor.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pressure tool -T10238- (left-hand drive vehicles)

t  Pressure tool -T10240- (right-hand drive vehicles)

Removing
–  Remove the steering column cover -arrows-.
  A20-1085
–  Lever off the cover -3- using a screwdriver and unscrew the screw -2-.
–  Unlock the terminal connector -1--arrow- and remove from the accelerator pedal module.

–  Insert the pressure tool -T10238- (left-hand drive vehicles) or the pressure tool -T10240- (right-hand drive vehicles) in the space on the accelerator pedal module, as shown in the diagram.-arrow-and remove the accelerator pedal module.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
  N20-10056
–  Fit terminal connector -1- to accelerator pedal module -4-. Engage the connector -arrow-.
l  The connector should snap into place.
–  Insert the accelerator pedal module into the attachment pins -5-.
–  Fit the centre fastener -6- in the hole on the vehicle floor.
–  Secure the accelerator pedal module using the bolt -2- and fit the cover -3-.

–  Install steering column trim.
Tightening torques:
  A20-1085
