Engine oil

Oil capacity

With oil filter: 4.7 l

Without oil filter 4.2 l.

Engine oil specifications → Booklet701.

Change engine oil → Booklet701.

Engine oil level: check

Note

The oil level must not be above MAX mark on dipstick - danger of damage to catalytic converter.

Test prerequisites

l	Engine oil temperature at least. 60 ℃

l	Vehicle in horizontal position

l	Wait a few minutes after switching off the engine to allow the oil to flow back into the sump.

Checking process:

–	Pull out the oil dipstick, clean it with a clean cloth and reinsert it fully.

–	Pull out the dipstick again and read off the oil level.

Markings on oil dipstick:

a -	Do not top up oil.

b -	Oil may be topped up.

c -	oil must be added.

Note

The oil level must not be above the max. marking -arrow 1- and not below the min. marking -arrow 2-.
