Disconnecting fuel rail from intake manifold
Disconnecting fuel rail from intake manifold
  Note
Intake manifold must be removed; removing intake manifold → Chapter.
   
–  Remove solenoid valve 1 for activated charcoal reservoir -N80--arrow- from mount.
–  Detach double retaining valve -1- and fuel line -2- .

–  Release hose clip -1-.
–  Loosen both bolts -arrows- from fuel rail.
–  Pull off fuel rail from intake manifold.
Installing:
–  Tighten the fuel pipe.
–  Further assembly in reverse order of removal.
–  Re-connect electrical connectors.
–  Installing intake manifold → Chapter.

Tightening torques 
Adapter for the fuel line to the fuel rail25 Nm
Fuel line (union nut) to the adapter for the fuel rail18 Nm
