Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
   
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Coupling tool -2024 A-
t  Workshop crane -VAS 6100-
t  Engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-

When carrying out repair work, secure the engine to the engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095- .
–  Unbolt gearbox.
   
–  Attach lifting tackle -2024 A- as follows and lift from engine and gearbox jack -V.A.G 1383 A- using workshop crane -VAS 6100-.
Pulley side: 3rd hole of the perforated flange in position 2
Flywheel end: 3rd hole of the perforated flange in position 8.
  Caution
Use locking pins at hooks and locating pins. This prevents damage being caused to the engine or vehicle.
t  The positions numbered 1 ... 4 of the hoisting bar face the pulley.
t  The holes in the perforated flanges are counted starting from the hook.
–  Remove the dowel sleeves and secure the engine to the engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-.
