Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pin -T10060A-
Removal:
–  Remove the sound-proofing → Body, exterior assembly work; Rep. gr.50.
–  Mark direction of rotation of poly V-belt.

–  Swing tensioning element in direction of arrow to relieve tension on poly V-belt.

–  Lock the tensioning device with the pin -T10060 A-.
–  Detach poly V-belt.
Installing
Fit the poly V-belt in the reverse order, paying attention to the following:
t  When fitting the Poly-V belt, ensure that it is fitted with the correct direction of rotation and that it is correctly seated on the pulleys.
t  For those vehicles not fitted with air conditioning, fit the Poly-V belt lastly on the alternator.
t  For vehicles with air conditioning, put Poly-V belt over air conditioning compressor last.
After completing the work, always start the engine and check that the belt rotates correctly.
