Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Lambda probe open ring spanner set -3337-
  W00-0206
Removal:
–  Unscrew the three bolts of the right underbody trim -arrows-.
  N26-10379
–  Disconnect electrical connection -1- from the lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130-.
–  Take the connector out of the retainer -2- and lay the lambda probe free.

–  Unscrew the lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130--arrow- with a tool from the set of ring spanners for lambda probes -3337-.
Installing
When installing, note the following:

t  New Lambda probes are coated with an assembly paste. The paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.
t  When reusing the lambda probe, only grease the thread with hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-; the paste must not get into the slots on the sender body Locking fluid for hot working bolts → ETKA (Electronic parts catalogue)
t  When assembling, the Lambda sender line must be fixed in its original position to avoid contact with the exhaust pipe.
t  Tightening torque: 55 Nm
