Prerequisites
l  Engine must be cold.
Operation sequence
–  Loosen the screw joint of the double clamp between the catalytic converter and the intermediate silencer and replace the nuts.
   
–  Place the double clamp at a distance -a- = 5 mm from the mark on the catalytic converter pipe (lower bolts in horizontal position) and tighten slightly the front screw joint.

–  Fit the presilencer -1- up until the measurement -b- of 3 … 7 mm between the body work/suspension and the suspension/pre-silencer (the arrow indicates the normal working direction).
–  In this position, tighten the screw joints for the double clip to a torque of 40 Nm.
–  After tightening the double clamp, check the dimension -b- and ensure it is correct.
–  Position the post silencer in horizontal position.
