Engine code BLY and BVZ. Lambda probe -G39- and lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- removing and installing

t	Removing → Anchor

t	Fitting → Anchor

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Wrench kit -3337-

Removing

–	Remove right vehicle floor cover -arrows-.

–	Remove the connector from the corresponding lambda probe.

–	Unbolt the Lambda probe -G39--1- or the lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130--2-using the Set of wrenches -3337-.

Installing

When fitting, note the following:

t	The screw thread on the new lambda probe is coated with a special paste; the paste must not get into the slots on the probe body

t	If a lambda probe is reused, apply paste to the bolts when warm; the paste must not get into the slots on the probe body. Locking fluid for hot working bolts → ETKA (Electronic parts catalogue)

t	When assembling, the lambda probe cable must be fixed in its original position to avoid contact with the exhaust pipe.

t	Tightening torque: 52 Nm
