  Note
t  The connection element on the primary exhaust tube should not be bent more that 10 º, otherwise it may be damaged.
t  Always gaskets and self-locking nuts.
t  After completing work on the exhaust system ensure that it is tension-free and remains at a sufficient distance from the bodywork. If necessary, loosen the clamping bracket and align the silencer with exhaust pipe so that there is always a sufficient clearance from the bodywork and is evenly distributed over the suspension elements.
t  Loosen and tighten the tightening disks for the thermal protection plates with a screwdriver. Tightening torques: 2 Nm
t  Exhaust system: Components overview → Chapter
t  Exhaust pipe with catalytic converter: removing and fitting → Chapter
t  Centre and secondary silencers: separate → Chapter
t  Installation position and tightening torque of the clamping sleeve → Chapter
t  Exhaust system: install free of tension → Chapter
t  Exhaust system: checking for leaks → Chapter
