Installing
Installing
The steering angle sender -G85- must be in its central position before installing.
–  Press on steering angle sender -G85- until lugs engage.
–  Remove transportation protection.
   
–  A yellow dot must be visible in hole -arrow 1-.
–  The marks -arrows- must also align.
Ensure that the centred position is maintained.
Further installation in reverse order.
–  Installing airbag unit and steering wheel. → Running gear, axles, steering; Front and four-wheel drive; Repair group 48; Removing and installing steering wheel, steering column; Driver's side airbag unit
–  Carry out basic adjustment of steering angle sender -G85- → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.
