Removing
–
Release the piston from the brake caliper applying compressed air.
Note!
Place a pice of wood in the box so that the piston does not get damaged.

Extract the gasket ring with the -U-30800- installation wedge.
Note!
Make sure the cylinder surface is not damaged during disassembly.
Installation
–
Only clean the piston and seal surfaces with alcohol and then dry.
–
Before fitting the piston and seal, apply a thin coating of G 052 150 A2 assembly paste.
–
Fit seal to brake caliper.
–
Fit the outside sealing protective cover with sealing lip over the piston.
–
Insert the inside sealing lip into the groove of the cylinder using wedge -U-30800-.
Note!
During this operation, the piston has to be supported in front of the brake caliper housing.
–
Insert the piston into the brake caliper housing using the device for retracting piston -T20055-.
Note!
In the course of this operation the outside seal seats into the groove in the piston.
