  WARNING
t  it is not permissible to repair damaged rims using heat, welding or material depositation or removal
t  It is not permissible to repair damaged or deformed rims and rims whose bolt holes are cracked or deformed.
t  Repair only with proven and approved paint.
t  Following repair to a rim the manufacturer is no longer liable.
Rims with cracks at the edges should never be repaired; they must be replaced immediately.
Any type of machining, heat treatment or welding work with material depositation is prohibited.
Reshaping the material is prohibited
The radial and axial runout before repair must not exceed the production tolerance of 0.8 mm.
Only cast light-alloy rims may be treated with filler. The material specification AISI xx is stamped on the inside of such rims.
Forged rims may only be painted.
Repair is limited to the painted surfaces.
Machined rims with one a transparent paint finish cannot be repaired in any manner.
It is only permissible to repair surface damage on the visible side of the rim (design side).
For repair the damage must not be deeper than 1 mm.
Apply filler only at a distance of 50 mm from the outer rim flange.
