| It is not permissible to repair damaged or deformed rims and rims whose bolt holes are cracked or deformed. |

Rims with cracks at the edges should never be repaired; they must be replaced immediately. |
Any type of machining, heat treatment or welding work with material depositation is prohibited. |
Reshaping the material is prohibited |
The radial and axial runout before repair must not exceed the production tolerance of 0.8 mm. |
Only cast light-alloy rims may be treated with filler. The material specification AISI xx is stamped on the inside of such rims. |
Forged rims may only be painted. |
Repair is limited to the painted surfaces. |
Machined rims with one a transparent paint finish cannot be repaired in any manner. |
It is only permissible to repair surface damage on the visible side of the rim (design side). |
For repair the damage must not be deeper than 1 mm. |
Apply filler only at a distance of 50 mm from the outer rim flange. |
