General description of the immobilizer 01.2007►
General description:
After 01/07 for the 1.8l TFSI engine, and after 06/07 for the 1.4l TSI and 1.6l SRE engines, and after 11/07 for the remaining engines, SEAT will fit a fourth generation immobiliser with online connection and data download. An essential component of the fourth generation immobiliser with data download is the central data bank, where all relevant anti-theft data corresponding to the control units in question is stored. Without an Online connection to this databank, it is not possible to adapt the control units which participate in the immobiliser.
