| After pressing the union pin you should shrink the union pin with a hot air blower. |
| The union pin should be heated from the center outwards until it is fully sealed and you should see the adhesive come out. |
| The hot air blower should be correspondingly adjusted to the temperature indicated in the instruction manual. |
| While heating to shrink, be careful not to damage other cables, plastic pieces or insulating material with the hot mouth of the blower. |

| If the repaired cable was previously taped, this joint should be taped with yellow adhesive tape, or in necessary cases, fix the cable with some type of brace. |
