| Before starting the repairs, eliminate the cause that produced this damage, for example, body parts with exposed edges, defective electric commutators, rust or corrosion, etc. |
| Cables belonging to the airbag system and screened cables like for example, bruised or frayed sensor or transmission cables, cannot be repaired. In case of damage, they should be substituted completely. |

| Cable wiring repairs should only be made with yellow wire. |
| Yellow cables or places covered with yellow isolation tape on the cable indicate that a previous repair was made on that spot. |
| After each repair, verify it's proper operations, and if necessary erase the faulty memory or set the system to it's basic position. |
