Removing
Removing
–  Remove the glove compartment → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.68.
–  Turn the ignition on, select the “de-icing” mode of the Climatronic control unit (01320) -J255- (in this mode the servomotor will position itself in the fresh air option) and wait until the servomotor reaches its final position “fresh air option”.
–  Switch off the ignition.
   
–  Release the inserts -D- and -E- for the support -A- in the air inlet opening and then remove the support -A-.
–  Disconnect the Servomotor for the air recirculation flap (00716) -V113- → Chapter.
–  Mark the connector to the Servomotor for the air recirculation flap (00716) -V113- (to avoid confusion with the Servomotor for the air retention flap (01274-4131) -V71- connector).

–  Remove the servo motor -A- from the air inlet.
  Note!
t  The junction between the servo motor and air retention flap cogwheels is designed in such a way that the servo motor may only be removed in one position “fresh air option”.
t  If the servo motor is in any other position and cannot be moved, it may not be extracted without first loosening the allotment points -B-, ensure to avoid any damage to the cogwheel -C- during this operation.
