Oil pump: removing and installing
Oil pump: removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor

Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Extractor -T10118-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove sump (bottom section) → Chapter.

–  Remove baffle plate -arrows-.
  A17-10391
–  Remove bolts -arrows- and detach oil pump.
  A17-10422
–  Use the extractor -T10118- to pull chain tensioner in direction of -arrow- and detach the oil pump with chain sprocket.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter
–  Renew baffle plate.
–  Check that both centring sleeves are fitted in oil pump.
–  Install sump (bottom section) → Chapter.
–  Fill up with engine oil and check the oil level → Booklet301.
