Brake pedal (vehicles with automatic gearbox): Removing and installing
Brake pedal (vehicles with automatic gearbox): Removing and installing
Removal:
–  Remove driver side centre arm rest → body assembly work internal; Rep. gr. 68 .
–  Separate the connector for the vehicle diagnosis, measuring and information system -VAS 505X-.
–  Remove the brake light switch → Chapter .
–  Separate the brake pedal from the servo brake → Chapter.
   
–  Remove bolt -3-.
–  Slacken the securing bolts -1- and remove the bolts -5- to the left.
–  Remove the brake pedal.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
  A46-10041
–  Screw in and tighten the bolt -3- (tightening torque 8 Nm).
