  Note
Before fitting new brake pads, the piston inside the cylinder has to be extracted with the calliper tool -T10145-. Before pressing the pistons back, draw off brake fluid from the reservoir with a bleeder bottle - SAT 1175B/1 -. Otherwise, if brake fluid has been replaced it might leak and cause damage.
   
–  Press piston back.
  Note
Do not exchange internal and external brake pads. Observe identification.

–  Fit the brake pad with the inscription "Kolbenseite" on the rear section, on the brake piston.
–  Brake pad with the three-tabbed black clip to the outside of the brake calliper.

–  First support the lower part of the calliper -arrow-.
–  Fit the brake calliper with the brake pads into the wheel bearing casing.
l  The brake calliper pivot should be behind the brake back plate guide!
–  Screw the brake calliper casing to the brake back plate with the two guide pins with a tightening torque → Item.
–  Fit the two protective covers.
–  Fit the brake pad wear indicator connector in the telescopic arm.
–  Fit wheel.
Tightening torque for wheel bolts → Rep. gr.44
  Note
t  After each brake pad change firmly depress brake pedal several times with vehicle stationary, so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.
t  Check brake fluid level after changing brake pads.
