Note| t | When repairing, fit the whole repair unit. |
| t | To clean the brake pads only methylated spirits may be used. |
| t | Apply a thin coating of assembly paste (assignment → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA)) to the brake cylinder, pistons and seals. |
| 1 - | Brake carrier |
| q | Tighten with the brake calliper housing |
| 2 - | Guide pin, 30 Nm |
| 3 - | Cover caps |
| q | Insert into sleeve bearing. |
| 4 - | Protective cap |
| q | Fit it over the bleed valve |
| 5 - | Air drain plug, 15 Nm |
| q | Before tightening, apply a fine layer of assembly paste to the screw thread → Parts catalogue |
| 6 - | Sleeve bearing |
| q | Fit into the brake calliper housing |
| 7 - | Housing for brake calliper |
| 8 - | Retaining spring |
| q | Note the correct fitting position |
| q | Engage onto both brake calliper housing studs and onto outer pad retaining spring. |
| 9 - | Protective cap |
| q | Pull on so that outer sealing lip goes over piston. |
| q | Take care not to damage when inserting piston. |
