t | When repairing, fit the whole repair unit. |
t | To clean the brake pads only methylated spirits may be used. |
t | Apply a thin coating of assembly paste (assignment → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA)) to the brake cylinder, pistons and seals. |

q | Tighten with the brake calliper housing |
2 - | Guide pin, 30 Nm |
3 - | Cover caps |
q | Insert into sleeve bearing. |
4 - | Protective cap |
q | Fit it over the bleed valve |
5 - | Air drain plug, 15 Nm |
q | Before tightening, apply a fine layer of assembly paste to the screw thread → Parts catalogue |
6 - | Sleeve bearing |
q | Fit into the brake calliper housing |
7 - | Housing for brake calliper |
8 - | Retaining spring |
q | Note the correct fitting position |
q | Engage onto both brake calliper housing studs and onto outer pad retaining spring. |
9 - | Protective cap |
q | Pull on so that outer sealing lip goes over piston. |
q | Take care not to damage when inserting piston. |
q | Removing and installing → Chapter |
