Installing > < Removing and installing ESP sensor unit G419
Removing and installing steering angle senderG85
Removing and installing steering angle sender -G85-
–  Turn wheels to straight-ahead position.
–  Disconnect battery → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27.
–  Removing airbag unit and steering wheel. → Running gear, axles, steering; Front and four-wheel drive; Repair group 48; Removing and installing steering wheel, steering column; Driver's side airbag unit
   
–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
–  Unscrew bolt next to the handle for height and longitudinal adjustment.
–  Take off lower steering column switch trim.
–  Take off upper steering column switch trim.

Steering angle sender -G85- is installed together with coil connector in housing -1-.

–  Pull off connectors -1- and-2-.

–  Lift hooks -arrows- carefully and pull off steering angle sender -G85-.
