Piston for front brake caliper: Removing and installing > < Pre-bleeding brake caliper

  Note!
t  When repairing, fit the whole repair unit.
t  New brake calipers are supplied with brake fluid and already bled.
t  Apply a thin layer of G052 150 A2 paste to the brake cylinder, piston and protector ring.
1 - Protective cap
2 - Bleeding valve
q   Before tightening, lightly grease the thread with assembly paste G 052 152 A2
3 - Hexagon bolt
q   35 Nm, self-locking
q   Replace after removing
q   When tightening and loosening, the guide pin item, should be immobilized → Item
4 - Guide bush
q   Lubricate before fitting the protective cover item → Item
5 - Protective cover
q   Fit over brake backplate item → Item and the guide pins item → Item
6 - Brake back plate with guide pins and protective cover
q   Delivered as assembled part, with sufficient lubrication on the guide pins item → Item
q   If the protective covers item has been damaged → Item and → Item or in the guide pins item → Item fit the whole repair unit. Use the enclosed grease sachet to grease the guide pins
7 - Protective cover
q   Do not damge protective cover when fitting the piston
q   Fit over the piston with the sealing lip on the outside
8 - Piston
q   Piston: Ø 54.00 mm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   First apply a thin coating of assembly paste G 052 150 A2
9 - Oil seal
q   Remove with wedge -U-30800- → Chapter, front caliper piston: removing and installing
10 - Brake caliper
