Installing
Installing
–  The surface of the piston and seal must be cleaned only with methylated spirits and then dried.
–  Coat piston and seal thinly with fitting paste G 052 150 A2 before inserting.
–  Insert seal in brake caliper.
   
–  Place protective seal with outer sealing lip on piston.

–  Using wedge -3409-, insert inner sealing lip into grove in cylinder.
When doing this, hold piston in front of brake caliper.

–  Screw piston into housing by turning knurled wheel clockwise.
t  Apply resetting and removal tool -3272- so that collar -arrow- of tool rests on brake caliper.
t  If piston is difficult to move, use a 13 mm open jaw spanner on flats -arrow A- provided for this purpose.
