| The total distance travelled by the vehicle can be read off the defective dash panel insert or determined using the service schedule. |

| The total distance travelled displayed on the new dash panel insert must not be more than 100 km before the adaption. |

| The total distance travelled to be transferred to the new dash panel insert must exceed 100 km. |

| Adaption of the total distance travelled is only possible once and then only in a positive direction. |

| The adaption must take place in kilometres for countries with a display in miles. Therefore convert adaption value from miles to kilometres. |

| The adaption can be interrupted with the C key of the fault reader. |
