Adapting total distance travelled
Adapting total distance travelled
–  Initiate self-diagnosis of dash panel insert → Chapter.
   
Indicated on display:
–  Press keys 1 and 0. (10 selects the function “Adaption”).

Indicated on display:
–  Press keys 0 and 9. (09 selects “channel 9”).
–  Confirm entry with Q key.

Indicated on display:
The selected channel and adaption value for the total distance travelled are displayed in the top line.
  Note!
An adaption value of 1 corresponds to a total distance travelled of 10 km.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
–  Enter new adaption value for the total distance travelled by the vehicle.
  Note!
The adaption value must be entered as 5-digits (e.g. 00125 for adaption value 125 or a total distance travelled of 1250 km).
Example:
Using information from defective dash panel insert a total distance travelled of 1,256 km for the vehicle was ascertained.
An adaption value of 125 is entered in new dash panel insert for a total distance travelled of 1250 km.
–  Confirm entry with Q key.

Indicated on display when a total distance travelled of 1250 km is entered:
–  Confirm entry with Q key.

  Caution
The total distance travelled can only be entered once and only in a positive direction!
Ensure before saving that the correct adaption value has been entered or terminate the adaption procedure with the C.
