Final control diagnosis
Final control diagnosis
The final control diagnosis is part of the electrical check. The following components can be checked via the final control diagnosis:
t  Speedometer
t  Rev counter
t  Coolant temperature gauge
t  Coolant temperature/coolant shortage indicator warning lamp
t  Fuel gauge
t  Reserve fuel warning lamp -K105-
t  Display (odometer, multifunction indicator)
t  4 °C temperature warning lamp -K108-
t  0 °C temperature warning lamp -K107-
t  Oil pressure warning lamp -K3-
t  Washer fluid low warning lamp -K106-
t  Oil pressure warning buzzer (buzzer and gong -H3-).
  Note!
t  If the self-diagnosis detects a fault, check wiring and connections to dash panel insert before renewing dash panel insert.
t  Replace the dash panel wiring harness if it is found to be defective when the line positions are checked. The dash panel wiring harness must not be repaired.
t  If the dash panel insert is renewed the control unit with display must be coded in the new dash panel insert → Chapter
