Initiating final control diagnosis
Initiating final control diagnosis
  Note!
t  If the engine is running or the vehicle is moving the dash panel insert final control diagnosis cannot be initiated/will be interrupted.
t  Only one final control is checked each time. All other final controls are rendered inactive during this period.
t  During the instrument final control diagnosis the indicator is brought into 0° position, this means it is at the start of its measuring range.
t  The C key can be used to exit the test sequence at any time.
–  Initiate self-diagnosis of dash panel insert → Chapter.
   
Indicated on display:
–  Press keys 0 and 3. (03 selects the function “Final control diagnosis”).

Indicated on display:
–  Confirm entry with Q key.
–  Select the final control to be tested with → key, and watch the relevant display or warning lamps.

Indicated on display:
The speedometer pointer runs through the display range forwards and backwards and then goes to the 100 km/h position.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The rev counter pointer runs through the display range forwards and backwards and then goes to the 3000 rpm position.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The coolant temperature gauge pointer runs through the display range forwards and backwards and then goes to the 90 °C position (in middle between C and H)
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The coolant temperature/coolant shortage indicator warning lamp lights up.
–  Press → key.

Hot lamp
Indicated on display:
The fuel gauge pointer runs through the display range forwards and backwards and then goes to the 1/2 full position.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The fuel reserve warning lamp -K105- lights up.
  Note!
The fuel reserve warning lamp -K105- is only found in dash panel inserts equipped with a multifunction display.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The odometer display segment and if fitted the multifunction display lights.
  Note!
The service interval display in odometer display segment is only found in dash panel inserts equipped with a multifunction display.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The 4 °C temperature warning lamp -K108- lights up.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The 0 °C temperature warning lamp -K107- lights up.
–  Press → key.

Temperature warning lamp 0°C

The oil pressure warning lamp -K3- lights up.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
The washer fluid low warning lamp -K106- lights up.
  Note!
The washer fluid low warning lamp -K106- is only found in dash panel inserts equipped with a multifunction display.
–  Press → key.

Indicated on display:
Oil pressure warning buzzer (buzzer and gong -H3-) signal given.
–  Press → key.
