Removing and installing a side airbag crash sensor
Removing and installing a side airbag crash sensor
  WARNING
Safety regulations should be observed when handling the airbag units → Chapter.
Additional operations should be carried out after the battery earth strap has been disconnected and connected → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.27.
Removing
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
–  Remove the entrance plate → Chapter.
–  Roll up carpet at the front of the B-crossmember.
   
–  Unplug connector -1-.
–  Release screws -3- of the crash sensor -2-.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
–  Switch off the ignition before attaching the battery.
  WARNING
Nobody should be in the vehicle when the battery is being connected.
