Inspecting seat belts   WARNING The seat belt system must be inspected after every accident! If one of the inspection points reveals any damage inform the customer that the seat belts must be replaced. Inspection points: t  Checking the seat belt t  Checking inertia reel (locking rate) t  Seat belt buckle - Visual inspection t  Seat belt buckle - Operating test t  Check deflection fitting and buckle latch t  Checking fixingings and fixing points t  Check lap belt inertia reel   Note Make a special note should the customer refuse to have a damaged seat belt replaced.
