  Note
The wheel-bearing housing for disc brake FS-III is showen on the figure. Different versions of the wheel-bearing housing do not influence the installation of the suspension strut.
1 - Wheel-bearing housing
2 - Nut, 60 Nm + 90°
q   replace after each removal
3 - Screw
q   replace after each removal
4 - Shock absorber
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   can be replaced individually
q   must be replaced completely
q   check → Chapter
q   disposing of → Chapter
q   Assignment → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts
5 - Stop buffer
6 - Boot
7 - Coil spring
q   check colour coding
q   The surface of the spring coil must not be damaged
q   replace axle-wise
q   the coil springs on the axle must be of the same manufacturer
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   Assignment → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts
8 - Axial grooved ball bearing
9 - Suspension strut bearing
10 - Self-locking nut, 60 Nm
q   replace after each removal
11 - Suspension strut dome
12 - 15 Nm + 90°
q   replace after each removal
q   when installing the suspension strut, first mount the screws on the inside of the vehicle
13 - Cap
q   clipped into the suspension strut
