Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Universal dial gauge holder -MP3-447-
t  Dial gauge
Work procedure
   
–  Insert valve into guide. End of valve stem must be flush with guide.
–  Determine valve rock.
Wear limit
  S15-0078
Inlet valveExhaust valve
0.5 mm0.6 mm

  Note
t  If the wear limit is exceeded, repeat measurement with new valve. If the wear limit is again exceeded - replace cylinder head.
t  If the valve is replaced when carrying out repair work, use a new valve for the measurement.
