Removing and installing, inspecting high pressure sender -G65-

Removing

Vehicles with diesel engine:

–	Remove engine cover.

–	Release the expansion reservoir and swivel it to the side (do not open the coolant circuit).

All vehicles:

–	Unplug the 3 pin plug connection -1-.

–	Unscrew high pressure sender -G65--2-.

Install

Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:

–	Replace O-Ring (10.80 mm; 1.82 mm) -3-, moisten with refrigerant oil and carefully insert in the connection slot -4-.

Tightening torque: 8 Nm

Note

The refrigerant circuit remains closed, connection to valve.

Check for proper operation

The function of the high pressure sender -G65- can be checked via self-diagnosis of the air conditioning system control unit -J301- → Chapter.
