Inspect wiring to the multi-function switch F125 > < Inspect wiring to the gearbox speed sender G38

Inspect wiring to the plug of the solenoid valves and to the gearbox oil temperature senderG93

Inspect wiring to the plug of the solenoid valves and to the gearbox oil temperature sender -G93-

–	Disconnect the 8-pin plug and check the wiring for interruptions.

Switch on measuring range: Resistance measurement (200 Ω)

Plug to the solenoid valves and to the gearbox oil temperature sender -G93-

Adapter cable -V.A.G 1598/18- bushes

Specification

Measures for deviations from nominal value

less than 1.5 Ω

–	Remove line interruption according to Current Flow Diagram → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.

–	Check plug for:

t	Contact corrosion

t	Water penetration

Leakage

less than 1.5 Ω

Note

If this test of the wiring does not show any unauthorised deviations, replace the gearbox oil temperaturesender -G93-,the wiring in the slide valve body or the solenoid valves → Chapter.
