1 - Radiator
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   after replacing fill entire system with fresh coolant
2 - O-ring
q   replace
3 - Top coolant hose
q   secure to radiator with retaining clip
q   Connection diagram for coolant hoses:
t  for engines with identification characters AUA, AUB, BBY, BBZ, BKY → Chapter
t  for engine with identification characters BUD → Chapter
4 - Coolant hose
5 - Fan shroud
q   pay attention to different versions of fan shrouds
6 - 10 Nm
7 - Retaining clip
q   check tightness
8 - Fan holder
9 - Connector
10 - Radiator fan
11 - To coolant regulator housing or to coolant pipe
q   Connection diagram for coolant hoses:
t  for engines with identification characters AUA, AUB, BBY, BBZ, BKY → Chapter
t  for engine with identification characters BUD → Chapter
12 - Expansion reservoir
q   Check the cooling system for tightness → Chapter
13 - Screw cap
q   Check pressure relief valve → Chapter
14 - Bottom coolant hose
q   with drain valve at radiator
q   secure to radiator with retaining clip
q   Connection diagram for coolant hoses:
t  for engines with identification characters AUA, AUB, BBY, BBZ, BKY → Chapter
t  for engine with identification characters BUD → Chapter
15 - Thermoswitch -F18-, 35 Nm
q   for electric fan
q   switching temperatures:
1. Stage on: 92...97°C
1. Stage off: 84...91°C
2. Stage on: 99...105°C
2. Stage off: 91...98°C
16 - Radiator support
q   Check fitting position
q   pay attention to different versions
17 - 10 Nm
