q   for oil level and oil temperature sender -G266-
4 - Connector
q   2-pin
q   for injection valves -N30…N32-
5 - Connection for fuel supply hose
q   from fuel filter → Chapter
6 - 8 Nm
7 - Fuel strip together with injectors
q   disassembling and assembling → Chapter
q   Vent fuel system → Chapter
8 - 20 Nm
9 - Intake manifold
q   disassembling and assembling → Chapter
10 - Lambda probe upstream of catalytic converter -G39-, 50 Nm
q   Fitting location: in the exhaust manifold
q   coat only thread with hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-; hot bolt paste must not get into the slot of the probe body
q   Testing lambda probe -G39- and lambda control upstream of catalytic converter → Vehicle diagnostic tester
11 - Connector
q   for lambda probe upstream of catalytic converter -G39-
q   6-pin for engine with identification characters AZQ.
q   4-pin for engine with identification characters BME.
q   black
q   Fitting location → Chapter
12 - Lambda probe downstream of catalytic converter -G130-, 50 Nm
q   Fitting location: downstream of catalytic converter
q   coat only thread with hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-; hot bolt paste must not get into the slot of the probe body
q   Testing lambda probe -G130- and lambda control downstream of catalytic converter → Vehicle diagnostic tester
13 - Connector
q   for lambda probe downstream of catalytic converter -G130-
q   4-pin
q   Brown
q   Fitting location → Chapter
14 - Coolant temperature sender -G62-
q   before removing, reduce pressure in cooling system if necessary
15 - O-ring
q   replace
16 - Retaining clip
q   check tightness
17 - 8 Nm
18 - Coolant regulator housing
q   disassembling and assembling → Chapter
19 - Retaining clip
q   check tightness
20 - 81- and 40-pin plugs
q   for engine control unit -J361-
q   only insert or remove plug when the ignition is switched off
q   unlock before removing
21 - Engine control unit -J361-
q   Fitting location → Chapter
q   Check supply voltage → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   Coding → Vehicle diagnostic tester
q   Adapt the engine control unit to the throttle valve control unit -J338- → Vehicle diagnostic tester
