Rear Wing Strip for Roomster Scout - Fabia Mk2 Exterior Equipment

  Note
t  The ambient temperature as well as the temperature of the parts must be at least 18°C, maximum 30°C.
t  After glueing the tuning parts, the vehicle must remain in a warm room for at least 3 hours.
t  Before glueing, all of the adhesive surfaces must be degreased with good quality - the quality of the glued joint depends upon this!
Install rear wing strip:
   
–  Thoroughly clean all the adhesive surfaces and degrease with cleaning solution - D 195 850 A1 -.
–  Clip the adapter into the sill (Pos. 7).
–  Apply primer - D 822 150 A1 - in adhesive area on plastic part.
–  After drying, apply primer - D 009 200 02 - in the adhesive area on the wing strip (Pos. 1 and 2).
–  Apply adhesive cement (Pos. 4) - D 172 090 A2 -.
–  Before pressing on the strip, remove the protective foil from the adhesive tape (Pos. 3).
–  Press the wing strip on a specified point.
–  Correctly press the wing strip in the area of the adhesive surfaces e.g. with pinch roller -3356-.
–  Clip in the safety rivet (Pos. 6).
–  Install screw - Pos. 5 (2.5 Nm) - in the adapter (Pos. 7).
–  Secure wing strip against moving and unglueing e.g with adhesive tape.

Overview of the surfaces for applying the adhesive cement:
–  1 - adhesive cement.
–  2 - double-sided adhesive tape.
–  3 - cover strip for front wing.
–  4 - entrance plate.
–  5 - cover strip for rear wing.
