Removing and installing the control unit for trailer detection for vehicles as of 3.2010
Removing and installing the control unit for trailer detection for vehicles as of 3.2010
Removing:
–  Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
–  Remove front passenger seat → Chapter.
–  Remove bottom trim panels of pillar A and B → Chapter.
–  Partially raise the floor covering under the seat.
–  Disconnect the plug from the control unit.
   
–  Remove screws (Pos. 1) - 3 Nm.
–  Remove the control unit (Pos. 2) from the vehicle.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
  Note
When replacing the control unit, code the new control unit with the → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
