Removing and installing top trim panel of pillar B (vehicles without head airbag)
Removing and installing top trim panel of pillar B (vehicles without head airbag)
Removing:
–  Unclip trim -3-.
–  Remove screw -2- (3,5 Nm).
–  Remove the cover from the fitting cover.
–  Remove screw for seat belt → Chapter.
   
–  First slacken top trim panel of pillar B -1- on the sides from the door seal and then remove gradually from the clips -4- with e. g. removal tool for inner lining of the door panel -MP8-602/1- from bottom to top. The upper part of the trim panel is located below the moulded headliner and interlocks into the body recesses.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order; pay attention to the following points:
t  Recondition the clips in the top trim panel of pillar B or in case of damage replace with new ones.
